Rossana D’Antonio is a civil and geotechnical engineer who up until recently had limited herself to technical writing.  Most recently, she is venturing into her unexplored creative side through memoir, personal essays and short fiction.  Rossana’s life took a tragic turn when her younger brother, a successful airline captain, died in a horrible plane crash.  In those initial dark and dreary days, writing became her refuge.  She is currently writing a memoir of the heartwrenching experience of losing her brother, the healing process through the lessons learned from his vibrant life, and the joys in the memories that teach her that his spirit lives on within her and the many people he touched.
